The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC), located in Annapolis, Maryland, invites applications for a 5-day short course that will serve as an introduction to the theory and practice of spatially explicit agent-based modeling (ABM).

The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) supports short courses on topics relevant to socio-environmental systems, the synthesis process, data management and analysis, or cyberinfrastructure tools. Short-courses are typically 3–10 days in duration.
